Position Title: AI/ML Engineer

Department: SPT AI Lab - AI & Data Science Team
Employment Type: Full-time / Internship

Number of Hires:  1–2 Positions
Location: Riverside, CA 92503 (In-person)
Start Date: Summer 2025
Salary: In-person discussion
Trial Period: 3 months
Schedule: 8-hour shift (Monday to Friday)

Responsibilities:

- Assist in developing AI/ML models for energy forecasting and optimization.
- Work on data pipelines to process real-time energy data.
- Optimize models for deployment in cloud environments.
- Collaborate with software engineers for seamless integration into the EMS platform.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree or above in Computer Science, AI, or a related field.
- At least one year of experience preferred (internships, research, or coursework included).
- Some knowledge of TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-Learn.
- Some knowledge of time-series forecasting, optimization algorithms.
- Familiarity with AWS, Azure, or GCP is a plus.
