Role Description
Description of Duties: Professor Anita Chaudhry, Department of Economics, is seeking a Research Assistant for the project “Local Political Structures and Water Policy in California”. The RA will help collect, organize, and analyze data on local water governance structures in California. Must be a major in Economics, Political Science, Geography and Environmental Studies, or Anthropology, and have an interest in learning about water policy-making in California.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Must be familiar with MS-Excel, using databases, and basic statistical analysis
- Must be available 8-10 hours per week for Summer and Fall 2025 semester.
- Must have own secure computer and phone, stable internet access, Zoom capability.
- Must be willing to work independently but document the work accomplished by task.
- Must be proficient in reading, writing, and speaking in English, and have demonstrated excellence in organization and writing skills.
Exceptions to the minimum eligibility qualifications may be granted at the sole discretion of the University.
