Goat Herdperson on Dairy Farm in Northern CA

Required:

  • Animal Husbandry experience (min one year). Preferable dairy, small ruminants
  • Live on farm (housing provided)
  • Kind 

Preferred:

  • 4 year college degree in related field 

Job Duties:

  • Lead the animal husbandry care of 100 goats
  • Milk goats 2-3 times a week
  • Under the direction of Farm Manager & Owners assistant in working with sheep
  • Assist with agritourism 
  • Keep barns and parlor working and clean 
  • Work the team to manage pastures with climate beneficial practices
