Video, Film, Media Production Intern

Position Overview: 

As a Video, Film, and Media Production Intern, you will be part of our creative team, assisting in the creation and production of various audiovisual content for our company. This internship offers hands-on experience in all aspects of video, film, and media production. You will collaborate with experienced professionals to develop and execute engaging visual content that aligns with our brand and communication objectives.

 

Job Duties and Responsibilities: As a Video, Film, and Media Production Intern at the National STEM Honor Society, your key responsibilities will include:

Manipulating Film and Video Footage:

Using video editing software to piece together raw footage, stills, and sound effects to create complete video projects

Ensuring a seamless and visually appealing flow of content.

  • Brainstorming and Content Generation:
    • Participating in brainstorming sessions to generate creative ideas for video-related content.
    • Contributing to the development of engaging video concepts aligned with the organization's mission and goals.
  • Script and Vision Execution:
    • Following scripts, screenplays, or outlines to create video content that aligns with the organization's vision.
    • Ensuring that the final product reflects the intended message and meets the project's objectives.
  •     Content Management and Branding:
    • Contributing to the strategic management of video content to effectively represent the National STEM Honor Society (NSTEM).
    • Learning how to create videos that reinforce the organization's brand identity.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Currently pursuing or recently completing a degree in film, media production, communications, or a related field
  • Basic knowledge of video production equipment, including cameras, lighting, and audio gear
  • Familiarity with video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro) is a plus.
  • Creative mindset with the ability to think visually and develop engaging content concepts.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • A positive attitude, teamwork, and willingness to learn from experienced professionals
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Basic knowledge of social media platforms and content marketing strategies
