We Are…
The Hotels of the Disneyland Resort Operations Leadership Intern is a developmental leadership position that is responsible for active day-to-day management of Cast and location performance that help exceed guest expectations at one of its three hotels at the Disneyland® Resort. The areas of development in this internship will include a rotation as a frontline leader of Front Office, Bell Services/Valet & Housekeeping.
The Hotel Operations team will focus on developing interns into future leaders in our organization through developmental tasks, regular learning assessments, and dedicated mentorship. This role will prepare the interns to improve Guest service standards, recognize/coach Cast behaviors, and manages the business through Key Business Drivers while maintaining strong connection to the Disney brand.
Interns who successfully complete this six-month internship will be given priority consideration for placement into leadership opportunities at The Hotels of the Disneyland Resort OR for participation in the next Leadership Development Program, with the intent to extend a regular offer forthcoming post-graduation.

What you Bring to the Role....
(Basic Qualifications)
- Demonstrated leadership experience
- Demonstrated professionalism and maturity in a fast paced, high volume work environment
- Demonstrated operational guest service experience and guest service skills
- Demonstrated problem-solving and decision-making
- Demonstrated strong organization, multi-tasking and time management skills with attention to detail
- Availability and willingness to be flexible with work schedule, including weekends, variable shifts and holidays
(Preferred Qualifications)
- Prior experience in hospitality/tourism field
- Bilingual skills
- Previous experience as a Disney Cast Member
Required Education:
- Must be enrolled in an accredited college/university taking at least one class in the semester/quarter (spring/fall) prior to participation in the internship program OR must have graduated from a college/university within 6 months OR currently participating in a Disney College Program or Disney Professional Internship
- You’ll be an undergraduate or a recent graduate (within 6 months of your graduation date) pursuing a degree in Hospitality, Travel & Tourism or other related fields
Additional Information:
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Must not have completed one year of continual employment on a Disney internship or program
- Must possess unrestricted work authorization
- Must be compliant with The Disney Look appearance guidelines
- This internship is a hybrid position - Must be able to provide a working, reliable internet connection as well as a quiet, dedicated workspace
- Program length - The approximate dates of this internship are January 2024 - June 2024
- Work details - Must be able to work FULL TIME hours (approximately 40 per week) for the duration of the internship
- Must be able to have a consistent, reliable work schedule throughout the session

The pay rate for this role in California is $1,240 per week.
