Marketing Leadership Rotational Program 2024

PROGRAM HIGHLIGHTS: 
Building on a base of strong data analytics and consumer insights. This rotational program offers talented marketing professionals the opportunity to engage in various parts of the business, interact with management, develop innovative solutions to real business challenges, and gain a broader understanding of the company and our business. The program encompasses two separate rotations each lasting appropriately 18 months in project team roles. Typically expected to take on reasonable independent responsibility of their work within a specific Marketing Discipline after two to three years of rotational program. 
Assists the marketing departments with the creation and execution of marketing materials and plans. Coordinates and executes activities involved in the preparation and delivery of advertising and sales promotions. Supports senior leadership with analytics support and event coordination. Supports the analysis of business results for marketing collateral using company tools as needed.

Typical rotations include:  
 
Brand Marketing: 
Assist on projects that leverage Gallo data tools to analyze and track brand, competitor and category performance.  
Gain exposure to key cross functional work:   
  • Data analytics  
  • Sales facing tools  
  • Marketing campaigns  
  • Partnerships   
  • Creative briefs 
 
Marketing Insights: 
Analyze qualitative and quantitative consumer and shopper research data to inspire brand or retailer action.  
Deliver strategic recommendations to brand team and cross-functional partners through the following:   
  • Consumer, shopper, category, and cultural knowledge to drive brand optimizations  
  • Category & market research to drive future innovation 
 
Consumer Interactions: 
Work across brands to help consumers. Example work includes:  
  • Solve issues and assist with customer service to ensure loyalty and retention  
  • Connect directly with consumers on brand social sites to manage community relations and inspire brand engagement  
  • Work across email and web channels to execute brand business and creative strategy to achieve brand objectives  
  • Manage E-Commerce channel sales and strategy to drive growth 
 
Business Analytics:  
Leverage data analysis skills to provide recommendations for Brand Management and leadership teams.  
Key areas of focus may include:  
  • Sales/Marketing promotions  
  • Annual business reviews  
  • Competitor analysis  
  • Market trends  
  • Pricing analysis 
 
WHAT YOU WILL NEED: 
  • Currently enrolled at an accredited college or university working towards a Bachelors degree and will obtain degree by July 2024. 
  • Required to travel by air and automobile up to 25% during the course of business. 
  • Experience writing reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. 
  • Computer skill requirements include: Basic MS Excel, Word, and Outlook. 
  • Required to travel to company offices, sites, and/or meeting locations for onboarding, training, meetings, and events for development, department needs, and business delivery up to 5% of the time, with or without reasonable accommodation. This may be in addition to travel requirements, if applicable, as listed in this job description. 
  • Required to be 18 years or older. This may be in addition to other age requirements, if applicable, as listed in this job description. 
 
WHAT WILL SET YOU APART: 
  • Currently enrolled at an accredited college or university working towards a Bachelors degree and will obtain degree by July 2024 plus 2 years of professional communications, marketing or sales experience. 
  • Preferred computer skills: Intermediate MS Suite to include but not limited to Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, Teams and basic syndicated data systems (e.g., IRI, Flex, and Spectra). 
  • Experience defining problems, collecting data, establishing facts and drawing valid conclusions. 
  • Knowledge of and experience with applying the fundamental concepts, practices and procedures of this particular field of specialization. 
  • Skilled in written and verbal communications, organization and time management, and problem solving. 
 
COMPENSATION: 
  • Hiring Salary Range Posted: $31.00 - $31.00 / hour 
  • Actual compensation paid within the range will be determined by factors such as the education, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data. 
  • In addition to the salary, this position may be eligible for bonuses and incentive plans, as applicable.
