Communications Coordinator

SUMMARY: This position is responsible for providing communications support for the Company’s Communications, Marketing and HR teams as well as general administrative support for the company as needed. This person will have an interest in corporate communications, helping with the development of messaging and content for internal and external audiences across multiple channels in support of Imperative Care’s mission to elevate stroke care.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following.  Other duties may be assigned on an individual basis:
  • Create and manage internal and external corporate content such as emails, blog posts, web banners, digital signs, social media posts, newsletters, infographics, videos, presentations and branding materials
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to meet the communication needs of our people and programs
  • Manage communications projects and content calendars; track all deliverables, ensure assignments and next steps are understood, and meet deadlines
  • Support the development of a company intranet and ongoing content coordination
  • Scan publicly available information such as media coverage, marketing materials, social media, and clinicaltrials.gov for company and industry news and developments
  • Assist with video and photography needs
  • Support Director of Communications and other staff members with administrative activities including:
  • Meeting and conference scheduling, to include on- and offsite meetings, booking and coordination/setup of meeting rooms, etc.
  • Project management and coordination for company events
  • Maintain an organized filing system of documents, photos, media coverage
  • Expense reports as needed
  • Uphold a strict level of confidentiality, having an awareness for the sensitivity of materials/meetings/etc. to which they will have access
  • Develop and sustain a level of professionalism and approachability with both internal team members and external contacts.
  • Be reliable, detail-oriented and task-oriented; proactive in approach to the role, taking charge of the items that require attention and completion, detail-oriented, and a highly effective communicator with all necessary constituents.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:                                                                   
  • AA/AS in business or equivalent education and experience; Bachelor’s degree preferred and 2+ years of administrative or related experience
  • Skilled in the use of Microsoft office suite, especially Word, PowerPoint, Excel
  • Excellent communications skills (both written and verbal) required
  • Ability to work independently and to prioritize activities and workload

Salary Range: $79,000 - 85,000 annually
