Pre-Dance / Pre-K Teacher
We are looking to expand our team and hire an experienced teacher for our pre-dance program. This program includes classes Princess Ballet, Lil’ Hippity Hop, and Creative Movement for ages ranging 2-6. Dance experience is not necessary to apply, however it is preferred. If you have any experience as a preschool teacher, we highly encourage you to apply! We are looking for someone who understands this age, how to direct and lead a class, make children feel confident and comfortable in their environment. Music + Movement = FUN! We love seeing young children fall in love with dance at this age, and are looking for someone to connect with our growing enrollment of this age range.
Classes may be held during the week or weekends based on availability. Ideally, we are looking for someone with prior teaching experience to connect with our dancers and give them the instruction they need on a consistent basis. Job requires someone invested in the growth of the dancers and who has a passion for teaching. This job will also require simple choreography for 2 recitals put on by Hype Dance Studio throughout the year. Many additional choreography opportunities are available. We are looking for someone to join our dance family!
