Provide administratively and program oversight to the Master Gardener Program and provide technical and educational training to support the creation and maintenance of gardening programs with UC CalFresh Nutrition Education Program clientele in Butte County. Provide support for both programs through volunteer/extender recruitment and training, as well as in planning and organizing activities. Provide leadership to both program areas to ensure accountability of resources, UC policies, and compliance with program goals and objectives. Work closely with UC CalFresh Program Manager, Supervisor 2, and County Director to ensure the development of cross-program activities to maximize the educational potential of both programs.
This position is a career appointment that is 100% fixed.
Pay Scale: $19.20/hr. to $25.52/hr.
This position will promote, in all ways consistent with the other responsibilities of the position, accomplishment of the Affirmative Action goals established by the Division.
