Marketing Assistant

Job Title: Marketing Assistant

Reports to: Marketing & Brand Manager
Location: Windsor, CA – in person

The Marketing Assistant at Bricoleur Vineyards is a dynamic role that will have multiple responsibilities in the winery and tasting room with the ultimate goal of growing our brand awareness, email list, social media following, and wine club members. All of this is done while upholding the Bricoleur Vineyards brand standards. The position will be client facing (in-person, via phone and email) and will require excellent communication skills. This role will also help with hospitality and interacting with the public (industry, media, and consumers) to build the Bricoleur brand and company. Must have a passion for putting the customer first, possess a positive can-do attitude, enjoy working in a fast-paced start-up like culture. Entrepreneurial nature is ideal.

As is common in the hospitality industry, you may be required to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, holidays, shifts of greater than eight hours and work-weeks greater than forty hours per week.

· Work daily with the Marketing team assisting them with projects and daily jobs.
· Assist Marketing & Brand Manager on social posts/social management. (i.e. Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, TikTok)
· Create original content for all Bricoleur's social platforms (TikTok, Instagram posts, Instagram stories, Facebook posts, etc.) that is highly shareable, engaging and supports brand and business objective
· Interact with followers, responding to questions and comments, direct messages, and make sure the brand voice is consistent for each person across all social media platforms
· Manage Blog Calendar and execute all posts
· Help optimize the website experience, landing pages, and SEO to improve our organic traffic
· Help execute a marketing plan and calendar for product and experience focused campaigns through email, text, and various social media platforms
· Liaise with PR agency to share information on current initiatives
· Closely follow trends as it relates to food, beverage, lifestyle, and pop culture while keeping an eye on what’s ‘next’ to further inform an effective strategy
· Acts as a Bricoleur Vineyards Ambassador, advocating for our wines, events, and experiences leveraging social media and other tools to promote Bricoleur sales within its community.
· Perform administrative duties as needed
· All other duties as assigned

· Strong communication skills

· Demonstrated knowledge and proficiency with Microsoft (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
· Proficient in Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, Twitter, and Pinterest
· Basic photography skills
· 1-3 years experience in ecommerce marketing
· Adaptable & Flexible
· Self-Starter
· Comfortable working in a fast-paced, startup environment
· Basic customer service skills – Help answering phones, texts, emails
· Ability to relate to a diverse set of team members and clients.
· Ability to prioritize work assignments and shift work efforts based on the needs of the department or business goals
· Ability to work independently, be self-motivated and work effectively in a team environment
· Evening and weekend availability may be necessary on occasion

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $29.00 per hour
