Case Manager - Teenage Pregnancy & Parenting Program

Description: We are looking for a dynamic Case Manager to join our Teenage Pregnancy and Parenting Program (TAPP) team.  The case manager (CM) will provide strength-based and youth focused services to expecting and parenting youth of Butte County.  The CM is responsible for maintaining and carrying a caseload of youths.  Job includes but is not limited to; home visiting, school visits, collaboration with community partners, attending outreach events, awareness of community services and completing a great deal of paperwork.    

Examples of Duties: Successful candidates will have good oral and writing skills, passion for working with expecting and parenting youth, will be able to work independently, have the ability to think quickly and use problem-solving skills, be open-minded and be able to be a team player.   Services are provided mostly Monday- Friday. However, there may be a time when the candidate will work an occasional early evening or on a weekend for outreach events.  

Qualifications: Current student or a BA/BS in social work, sociology, child development, health and community services and/or related field. Candidates must be able to maintain and balance the paperwork deadlines with the home visiting requirements, follow program requirements, multi task, have solid computer skills to enter paperwork into data system/create flyers and complete notes, be flexible, provide great customer service and have reliable transportation, valid driver's license and insurance.   Rate of Pay: $21.45
