Coordinator, Tours & Special Events

The Coordinator, Tours and Special Events will works with clients, outside vendors, and internal departments to coordinate and execute stadium tours and non-game day events.

Job Functions:
  • Assist with answering calls and scheduling private and public stadium tours
  • Assist in the development of tour guide schedules on a weekly basis
  • Help facilitate and conduct stadium tours when needed
  • Additional tour related assistance as needed
  • Assist in the planning and execution of non-baseball/non-game day events
  • For select events, serve as the on-site point person throughout set-up, execution, and strike
  • Assist with conducting facility site inspections as needed
  • Communicate event details to internal stakeholders
  • Perform other related duties as assigned
 
Basic Requirements/Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s Degree, or education equivalent, preferably in the Hospitality or Tourism related fields
  • Minimum two (2) years previous experience in hospitality, events, or the travel and tourism industry
  • Available to work weekends is a must
  • Must also be able to work during the day and evenings, including holidays and overtime as needed
  • Bilingual – Spanish, Korean, Japanese a plus
  • Excellent written and verbal skills
  • Must be comfortable speaking to large and diverse audiences
  • Professional image and demeanor
  • Strong collaboration, communication, time management and organizational skills
  • Must always demonstrate a positive, team-oriented, and respectful attitude
  • Become knowledgeable about all aspects of Dodger Stadium and Club history
  • Possess high degree of discretion, integrity, professionalism, and accountability
  • Consistent, punctual, and regular attendance
  • Maintain high levels of safety and customer service standards at all times Proficient computer skills in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, Power Point, and Outlook
  • Minimum physical requirements: Able to travel to, and move throughout, various areas of the ballpark stand for prolonged periods of time; navigate stairs; and be able to lift and transport up to 25 pounds
