Laboratory Technician I/II, Cell Line Development

The Lab Technician I/II in Upstream Development (UD)-Cellular Adaptation (CA) will be responsible for adapting cell lines for application in large-scale, cultivated meat production. The Lab Tech in CA will collaborate closely with upstream team members to meet key objectives and reduce bottlenecks.  You should be creative, disciplined, enthusiastic, and able to work with a team to reach a common goal.
Duties include
  • Following R/SOP's to perform assigned tasks ranging from routine to complex lab procedures
  • Prepare reagents, buffers, media and various other solutions for laboratory activities 
  • Maintenance, organization and inventory of the lab space
  • Cell culture techniques including routine cell maintenance and growth
  • Proficient and organized data collection
About you
  • Associates degree in a scientific field, biotechnology certificate or professional experience in cell biology, bioengineering, or closely related science. 
  • Experience with basic mammalian cell culture techniques and making reagents for cell culture highly preferred. 
  • Fosters a team environment by collaborating scientifically with team members.
  • Ability to work in a high paced team environment, meeting deadlines.
