Human Resources Internship (Academic Part Time)

Job Details

New ideas are all around us, but only a few will change the world. That’s our focus at JPL. We ask the biggest questions, then search the universe for answers—literally. We build upon ideas that have guided generations, then share our discoveries to inspire generations to come. Your mission—your opportunity—is to seek out the answers that bring us one step closer. If you’re driven to discover, create, and inspire something that lasts a lifetime and beyond, you’re ready for JPL.
Located in Pasadena, California, JPL has a campus-like environment situated on 177 acres in the foothills of the San Gabriel Mountains and offers a work environment unlike any other: we inspire passion, foster innovation, build collaboration, and reward excellence.
At JPL, you could say our mission is as big as space. Our discoveries in technology and space exploration advance humanity in many directions. We are constantly creating new solutions, new potential and even new ways of seeing the universe and life itself. If that sounds a little grandiose, it’s because it is.

As the Human Resources Directorate, we work together with our client organizations to attract, develop, retain, and enhance the experiences of candidates and employees (JPLers).  Our role is to focus on People, Processes, and Technology to help build the Lab of the Future, and propel JPL to achieve its goals and meet its mission.

The Talent Management (TM) Team, which includes Talent Acquisition, the HR Business Partner and Talent Specialist teams (HRBP and TS), Employee Relations, University Relations, Talent Management, and California Institute of Technology International Offices, focuses on engaging with clients, establishing consultative partnerships to drive strategic talent initiatives, collaborating with the HR Centers of Excellence (COE), supporting inclusion and diversity initiatives, acting as a strategic resource and trusted advisor to provide insights on organizational and people-related strategy and execution, and using data and analytics to guide decision-making and develop proactive solutions.
We currently have an opportunity for an Academic Part-Time Intern, to work with the TM team.
