Project Manager

AMP United is a TURNKEY preservation contractor. We possess the qualifications, certifications, personnel, and experience to accomplish large scale industrial preservation (surface preparation and coating application) as well as associated scaffolding and containment requirements.
With personnel located throughout Virginia, California (including Alameda), New Hampshire, Bremerton (WA), and Hawaii, AMP United is strategically positioned and has the resources to serve our clients needs.

AMP United is looking for our next Project Manager who should be dynamic in that they are forward-thinking in business operations. They should have expertise in continuous process improvement and be able to strategically implement change management and perform accounting cost analysis to monitor and establish proper controls. They should have a proven ability to create and streamline processes, maximizing our businesses vision and plans while developing and leading our high-performing, cross-functional production and administration teams. They should have proven skill that demonstrates their abilities in sales generation, establishing new revenue streams, and maintaining existing customers with the ability to develop new relationships to expand our business. 
RESPONSIBILITIES:
·       Day-to-day management of Project financial / personnel planning and production execution; to include subcontractor production efforts and priorities 
·       Interfaces with customers in-house management teams on contractual and logistics support issues 
·       Understands work specifications and supporting documents, ensuring compliance with their requirements  
·       Capable of creating & understanding contract estimates, establishing budgets and creating and maintaining preliminary planning, production execution, and postproduction schedules 
·       Tracks overall financial performance of assigned projects’ project costs and budgets 
·       Composes and generates technical reports (i.e., Daily & Weekly Production Status, Material & Equipment requisitions, Invoice updates, and Project related procedures) 
·       Manages CFR reporting requirements for both required reporting and identification and proper documentation of growth and new work opportunities, and schedule impacts and delays incurred 
·       Proficient in the understanding of project related contract requirements as related to specification evaluation, interpretation, and execution 
·       Ensure adherence to bid letter and customer issued purchase order requirements with respect to schedule, quality, and other contractual performance requirements 
·       Intermediate to advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite; Word, Excel, and Projects software programs 
Routine Expectations / Requirements: 
·       Attends weekly progress and conduct daily production meetings; ensures all personnel with action items are held accountable and that realistic need dates are set and held 
·       Attends required customer related Project meetings (Daily or Weekly Project Production & Scheduling Review etc.) 
·       Ensures in-house reporting (i.e., Daily & Weekly Production Status, Schedule Updates, Budget Tracking, Cost Analysis Data) is provided to Senior Management as required 
·       Ensures contractually required status reports (i.e., weekly status, material status, Closeout reports) are provided to company management and customer 
REQUIREMENTS:
·       Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university, or equivalent project management field experience  in marine preservation projects, construction project management, construction science, engineering, architecture, or another related field
