Study Coordinator
SALARY RANGE: $3,000 - $4,500 DOQ
Under the direction of the Study Director and Facility Manager, the Study Coordinator will supervise and perform sample handling, laboratory functions, facility maintenance/safety, filing/copying, shipping and related activities required in the conduct of veterinary research trials.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Supervise and conduct the storage of study documents and specimens
- Process, label and store samples and collected specimens for shipment or archival purposes while properly documenting removal and/or return on appropriate facility logs
- Maintain freezer logs, temperature logs, thermometers, and facility records
- Copy, maintain, file, and prepare final reports for shipment and archivingÂ
Additional Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:
- Conduct routine facility and equipment inspectionsÂ
- Light laboratory clean-up and supply quantity maintenance based on current and known upcoming sample collection needs
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
- At least two years of experience in an ag-related role
- Bachelor’s Degree of Science in a related discipline
- Efficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Adobe Pro document editing
- Comfortable and competent enough to record data and manage samples in working agriculture conditions around livestock
