Nursery Intern
Summary:
The Nursery Intern will work in all production areas, field, greenhouse, containers and lab tree production under the supervision of the Director of Propagation. The primary duties of this person will be to care for various nursery crops and implement crop improvements. They will also be involved in the collection and maintenance of accurate electronic records of growing trees, employee tasks, and new trials and ensure accurate labeling. This person may be involved in a variety of other tasked related to new infrastructure projects, protocol development, and research and development trials, and must be able to work effectively independently at times.

- Scouts plants for health and disease issues
- Cares for plants, including watering, fertilizing and pesticide application
- Performs trials and tracks results
- Produces and tracks trials.
- Maintains accurate production records
- Performs other related projects as assigned
