Under direction of the Supervisor I, incumbent independently assumes full range of responsibility for DWR public information duties as well as having information available about Department of Parks and Recreation campsites and recreational facilities throughout the State. Provide coverage of the visitor center, informs the public on all phases of the State Water Project with particular emphasis on Oroville facilities. Conducts individually scheduled tours and groups at the Visitor Center. Prepare written reports, news releases, brochures about facilities, and provide information to answer inquiries from the public.
Permanent Intermittent employees are paid hourly and are limited to 1500 hours per calendar year.

Special Requirements
Must be willing to work Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays on an assigned shift. A California driver's license is required to travel within the Oroville facilities and other locations throughout the State as needed.
