RADIO INTERNSHIP FOR COLLEGE CREDIT - Fall 2026

RADIO INTERNSHIP: The radio internship consists of on-the-job exposure to the interworkings of a local radio broadcasting in exchange for college credits towards the students major, or minor.  Student must fill out application form from their college advisor in order to participate in the internship for credits.
Open to students in Journalism, Design, Communication, Broadcasting, or Music.  Prior experience in broadcasting is not required, but can be helpful. 
Duties include: Assisting the On-Air Talent produce live/recorded radio shows, script/write/voice radio commercials, assist with radio promotions.  Assist On-air Talent with on-location events or remote broadcasting attended by the radio group including set-up, listener interactions, goodwill ambassador. Assist the Promotion Department with visual arts, including print, social media, & photography. Using proprietary contesting engine to select and notify radio listeners of prizes through texting, email or phone message.
